Job Title: Senior IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (EDI) Developer

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (EDI) Developer to support enterprise integration initiatives by designing, developing, and maintaining scalable EDI and API-based solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in IBM Sterling technologies, EDI implementations, and integration architecture while providing technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement EDI integrations and B2B solutions using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator.
Perform technical analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
Lead day-to-day technical execution of EDI and API integration projects.
Translate business and technical requirements into scalable and maintainable integration solutions.
Ensure adherence to coding standards, integration best practices, and quality guidelines.
Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior team members.
Troubleshoot complex integration issues and serve as the technical escalation point for development teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional and globally distributed teams to deliver integration solutions.
Support API development, implementation, and lifecycle management activities.
Evaluate and adopt new integration technologies, tools, and frameworks as needed.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience delivering enterprise integration and EDI solutions.
Strong hands-on experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (SI).
Minimum 2 end-to-end EDI implementation projects including development, testing, deployment, and production support.
3+ years of experience leading integration or EDI development teams.
Strong understanding of RESTful API architecture and integration patterns.
Experience with API lifecycle management including design, development, testing, deployment, security, versioning, and support.
Solid understanding of EDI standards such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, and related B2B communication protocols.
Knowledge of security and integration architecture concepts including:
- Authentication and Authorization
- Encryption and Secure Data Exchange
- Logging and Monitoring
- Traffic Management and Throttling
- High Availability and Scalability
- Clustering and Performance Optimization
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience integrating enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow or similar systems.
Knowledge of modern API Management platforms.
Experience working in Supply Chain, Distribution, Logistics, or Manufacturing environments.
Exposure to Mainframe technologies including COBOL and DB2 is a plus.
