Description
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager/Senior Consultant to support IT initiatives focused on resource management in Draper, Utah. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who is detail oriented and can bring structure, visibility, and strong execution to project planning and delivery using Smartsheet. The role requires close coordination with cross-functional teams, effective stakeholder communication, and a disciplined approach to Agile project management.
Responsibilities:
Lead IT project planning and execution efforts with a strong focus on resource management, timelines, and delivery goals.
Use Smartsheet to build, maintain, and optimize project plans, dashboards, reports, and resource tracking tools.
Partner with business and technical stakeholders to define priorities, align project scope, and monitor progress against key milestones.
Facilitate Agile Scrum ceremonies and promote consistent project governance across teams and workstreams.
Identify project risks, dependencies, and resource constraints, then develop practical mitigation strategies to keep work on track.
Communicate project status, issues, and performance updates clearly to leadership and cross-functional partners.
Support continuous improvement in project delivery processes by recommending better planning, reporting, and coordination practices.
Requirements
5+ years of experience managing IT projects in a structured, fast-paced environment.
Proven expertise in project management with the ability to oversee schedules, resources, and stakeholder expectations.
Hands-on experience with Smartsheet for project tracking, reporting, and resource management.
Strong understanding of Agile Scrum principles and experience leading teams within Agile delivery models.
PMP certification is required or strongly preferred based on comparable project leadership experience.
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively with technical teams, business partners, and leadership stakeholders.
