Salary Range: $82,000 - $127,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Spring Lake that are seeking Automation Engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
• Program PLCs, HMIs, and industrial robots for new and existing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation system issues, including electrical, mechanical, and software problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define automation requirements and integrate solutions.
• Optimize existing automation systems for improved efficiency, reliability, and safety.
• Develop and maintain documentation for automation systems, including schematics, programs, and operating procedures.
• Provide technical support and training to production and maintenance teams on automation systems.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial automation, robotics, or control systems within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in programming PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell), HMIs, and SCADA systems.
• Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus).
• Experience with robotic systems (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB) including programming, integration, and troubleshooting.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with SCADA systems or distributed control systems (DCS)
• Familiarity with robotics and robotic process automation (RPA) in a manufacturing context
• Knowledge of machine vision systems for quality control or inspection
• Certifications in relevant automation technologies (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000)
• Experience with data analytics and visualization tools for manufacturing data (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
