Salary Range: $79,000 - $124,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing automation systems and equipment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and define project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, programming logic, and operational procedures.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide technical support and training to production and maintenance teams on automation systems.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience in industrial automation within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in programming PLCs (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens) and HMI/SCADA systems.
  • Strong understanding of robotics (e.g., Fanuc, Kuka, ABB) and motion control systems.
  • Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus).
  • Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot automation solutions.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with SCADA systems and PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
  • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., OPC UA, Modbus, PROFINET).
  • Knowledge of machine vision systems and their integration into automation processes.
  • Certifications in relevant automation technologies or platforms.
  • Experience with robotic systems (e.g., UR, FANUC, KUKA) and their programming.
