Systems Analyst
On-site | Austin, TX | Contract
We are partnering with a client in Austin, Texas to hire a Systems Analyst. This long-term contract position involves a hybrid schedule of three remote days and two onsite days (Monday and Thursday). The ideal candidate will play a critical role in analyzing business needs, identifying solutions, and optimizing systems to support organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and challenges, proposing effective solutions to address them.
Conduct detailed studies and cost/benefit analyses to evaluate alternative approaches and make recommendations.
Analyze user requirements, procedures, and existing problems to automate processes or enhance current systems.
Develop comprehensive documentation of user needs, program functions, and steps required for system development or modification.
Review system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling constraints to determine feasibility of requested changes.
Manage governance, security, compliance, and automation within the GitHub Enterprise platform.
Facilitate DevSecOps enablement, ensuring audit readiness and adherence to standardized CI/CD practices.
Identify gaps in processes and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Collaborate with teams using Agile Scrum methodologies to deliver solutions effectively.
Provide ongoing support and training to end-users, ensuring seamless adoption of system changes.
Requirements
Requirements:
Proven experience in business analysis, with a focus on identifying and addressing organizational needs.
Strong background in call center customer service and document review processes.
Proficiency in Agile Scrum methodologies and ability to work collaboratively in Agile environments.
Expertise in conducting gap analyses and recommending actionable solutions.
Familiarity with governance, security, and compliance within enterprise platforms like GitHub.
Excellent analytical skills and ability to conduct cost/benefit studies.
Strong communication skills to engage with diverse teams and stakeholders effectively.
Ability to work on a hybrid schedule, combining remote and onsite work in Austin, Texas.
