IT Systems Engineer
Location: on-site 5 days a week in Ankeny, IA (Local Only)
Duration: 12+ months
Interview: In-person (so no out of state candidate and flying them in)

Position Overview
An organization is seeking an IT Systems Engineer to design, build, deploy, and maintain technical products and platforms that support business operations and growth. This role blends systems engineering, endpoint management, and application support, with a strong emphasis on Windows environments and enterprise software deployment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, solutions-oriented, and comfortable working across infrastructure, applications, and user-facing systems.
Technical Environment & Preferred Experience
• Strong experience in Windows environments (server and endpoint)
• PowerShell and CMD scripting for automation and system management
• Endpoint management tools (Intune, SCCM, or similar)
• Software deployment and lifecycle management
• Experience supporting or integrating Point of Sale (POS) systems (preferred)
• Experience with payment processing systems or environments (preferred)
• Understanding of enterprise infrastructure and application ecosystems
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of experience building, deploying, and maintaining technical solutions in a business environment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
