About the Role
is embarking on a major modernization effort by implementing the iCIMS Talent Cloud platform, replacing a 15 year old legacy ATS. We are seeking an experienced iCIMS Implementation Consultant to guide our teams through a 24 week implementation process. This role will be critical in shaping workflows, ensuring compliance, optimizing recruiting processes, and driving alignment across multiple stakeholders.
As the organization enters unfamiliar territory with a new system, we need a strategic partner who can challenge assumptions, offer best practice recommendations, and help us design a future ready recruiting ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Implementation Leadership
Support the full iCIMS implementation timeline, ensuring milestones, decisions, and deliverables stay on track.
Serve as a unifying voice across departments, helping the team navigate a new technical environment.
Identify risks early and proactively surface solutions.
Collaborate closely with the internal Project Manager, Operations Lead, and an existing ATS SME.
Process Design & Optimization
Lead workshops to map current hiring workflows and design optimized future state processes.
Evaluate and improve recruiting workflows to enhance speed, compliance, and candidate experience.
Offer thought leadership and challenge current processes constructively.
Translate HR concepts into technical system requirements and vice versa.
Compliance & AI Governance
Ensure workflows support strong compliance requirements across multiple roles and hiring types.
Advise on AI related compliance considerations within iCIMS and recruiting practices.
Stakeholder Engagement
Facilitate decision making across cross functional teams.
Ask probing questions to uncover needs ( Walk me through your current process for X, Have you considered Y? ).
Adjust pacing of the project (speed up, slow down) to keep alignment and clarity.
Qualifications
Required
Proven experience implementing or configuring iCIMS or similar enterprise ATS platforms.
Strong understanding of recruiting operations, workflows, and HR terminology.
Experience managing complex, multi workstream projects.
Excellent facilitation, communication, and workshop leading skills.
Ability to identify pitfalls, foresee roadblocks, and offer strategic recommendations.
Highly organized with strong follow through and attention to detail.
Ability to translate between technical system language and HR/business language.
Preferred
iCIMS Certification (strong plus)
Experience with compliance focused workflows and AI related governance
Background supporting organizations transitioning from legacy systems
Consulting experience and comfort challenging stakeholders constructively
