SAP HCM Consultant – SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Remote
We are seeking an SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central consultant to support and enhance our current implementations in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, Recruiting, Onboarding 2.0 and Learning modules. The right candidate will have strong experience in SAP Employee Central, and in at least one of the Recruiting, Onboarding 2.0 or Learning modules, along with strong system configuration experience. Experience with Employee Central Payroll or data replications from Employee Central into EC Payroll is a plus. This is a business-facing role, and the person will work with both the business SMEs and members of the SAP technical teams. Good communication skills, the ability to plan and manage work effectively, strong interpersonal skills, and being able to own and deliver work independently, are essential skills for success in this role. The person will work remotely in the US Eastern time zone.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide expert-level production support in Employee Central and other related modules of Recruiting, Onboarding 2.0 and Learning
- Act as the primary point of contact for all SuccessFactors issues, performing impact analysis and driving resolution end to end
- Enhance and maintain all SuccessFactors interfaces to support changing business, vendor, and compliance requirements
- Execute and support testing activities, including regression testing, and validation during upgrades and changes
- Manage day-to-day operational tickets, prioritizing issues based on timelines and business impact
- Coordinate closely with HR, IT, department users and external vendors to ensure smooth operations
- Perform data analysis, reconciliations, and variance checks to proactively identify and resolve discrepancies
- Document system changes, support procedures, and business rules, and participate in knowledge transfer and cross-training
- Support data replication errors across all the core HR systems and understand the appropriate follow ups needed. This includes both employee master data and org/job/position data.
Skills and Qualities:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in implementation and support for SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and in at least one of Recruiting, Onboarding 2.0 or Learning modules is required
- Expert knowledge of Employee Central, including how to process transactions and the configuration of the system (business configuration, business rules, etc.)
- Knowledge of Data replications – Employee Central to EC Payroll, and Employee Central to SAP ECC
- Knowledge of how to do mass master data loads into Employee Central and how to maintain data effectively while avoiding disruptions to existing business processes
- Experience with Employee Central Payroll is a plus
- Able to effectively translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- SAP certification preferred, but not mandatory
