Job Title: Senior Business Analyst
Location: New York, NY – Hybrid (3 Days Onsite)
Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Job Overview:
Morgan Stanley is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong Asset Management and Banking domain experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a strong solution-oriented mindset. This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders, business teams, and development teams to drive business solutions and technology initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Work independently on all aspects of business analysis and requirements gathering.
  • Collaborate with development teams using Agile/Kanban methodologies to create epics, user stories, and milestones.
  • Conduct user research and stakeholder interviews to identify business needs and opportunities.
  • Gather and document current and future state workflows, data mapping, data flows, and acceptance criteria.
  • Support solution design, backlog management, and prioritization.
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and cross-functional discussions to drive project decisions.
  • Work closely with developers and technical teams to ensure business objectives are met.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and influence decision-making.
  • Maintain documentation and communicate project updates clearly to business and technical teams.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 15+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner.
  • Strong Asset Management / Banking industry experience.
  • Experience with data analysis, querying, and data mapping.
  • Strong experience with Agile/Kanban methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, Excel, Visio/Lucidchart, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
