Our client is an innovative and rapidly expanding technology company specializing in advanced fiber-optic connectivity solutions. They are expanding their commercial team and seeking a highly driven sales leader capable of managing a $2.5M-$5M annual portfolio while deepening relationships with high-value accounts and identifying new revenue opportunities.

Job Description

  • Own and execute sales strategy across targeted accounts, managing an annual budget of $2.5M-$5M and delivering consistent revenue growth.
  • Sell the full portfolio of fiber-optic connectivity products, with emphasis on ISP and Data Center solutions.
  • Develop and expand key customer relationships through regular onsite visits, training sessions, solution presentations, and proactive engagement.
  • Understand customer business objectives and technical requirements to position the right products and solutions effectively.
  • Conduct revenue forecasting, account planning, demand planning, and ongoing sales administration to support growth targets.
  • Lead customer engagement across both direct and channel sales, driving alignment and maximizing commercial results.
  • Serve as the primary interface for pre-sales and post-sales activities, maintaining strong relationships across all levels within assigned accounts.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers by clearly communicating how the company's technologies support their operational and strategic goals.
  • Champion the customer internally, coordinating with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Support to ensure seamless execution and tailored commercial offers.
  • Gather account-specific insights including use cases, cost-benefit analysis, competitive landscape, and long-term commercial potential.
  • Structure compelling commercial proposals and win new business that expands revenue within assigned territories.
  • Maintain and execute strategic key account plans while securing alignment across cross-functional teams.
  • Strengthen internal collaboration by working closely with Sales, Marketing, PLM, Engineering, and Operations, providing real-time market and customer feedback to influence product strategy.

The Successful Applicant

    • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
    • Proven ability to manage high-value sales portfolios and drive growth in a technical, solutions-focused environment.
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; highly professional and self-motivated.
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, unstructured, and multinational environment.
    • Strong technical aptitude, able to understand complex products and customer applications.
    • Excellent organization and time-management skills, capable of handling multiple priorities.
    • Effective listener who excels at identifying customer needs and expanding opportunities.
    • Experience interpreting technical and non-technical documents related to sales and contracts.
    • Knowledge of fiber-optic technologies is highly desirable.
    • Track record of producing strong team results and collaborating effectively across functions.
