Role Overview
This position is responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of a technology project to ensure it is completed on time and within budget. The role supports multiple applications in the clinical space, such as utilization management, care management, and appeals/grievances. This cross-functional role requires collaboration with application development teams, product teams, and various program and project management teams across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple medium to large-sized projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines.
- Work with project stakeholders to develop an objective-based comprehensive project plan.
- Create, build, and update project schedules, project charters, status reports, and work breakdown structures.
- Track and report on financial data, performance, and status of multiple projects by leveraging project management tools.
- Identify key project risks and manage them to ensure the delivery of business goals.
- Develop and adhere to project timelines, maintain project records in ServiceNow, and review Jira/Jira Align records.
- Monitor project budget, document risks and issues, and provide weekly status updates.
- Present at investment forums for funding approvals and coordinate with testing teams.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope, and skill reflective of the level of this position.
Experience: At least 5 years of related experience, specifically with large cross-functional projects.
Technical Skills:- Project Management
- Experience with Jira/Jira Align
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Root Cause Analysis, Sourcing, Stakeholder Management, and Vendor Relationship Management
- Knowledge of Agile Software Development, Scrum, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Soft Skills:- Strong communication, time management, and conflict resolution skills.
- Critical thinking and the ability to adapt to various situations.
- Ability to work independently and drive multiple projects to successful completion.
- Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to make recommendations to upper management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI.
- Prior experience in the healthcare industry.
