Summary

Job Title: Business PMO Lead | Remote 


Role Overview

We are seeking a highly strategic and execution-focused Business PMO Lead to drive program governance, business operations, and cross-functional alignment across critical initiatives. This role will act as the central point of coordination between business, engineering, operations, and leadership teams to ensure successful delivery of key programs aligned with organizational goals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Business PMO function, establishing governance frameworks, processes, and best practices
  • Drive end-to-end program management for high-impact business initiatives (product launches, operational improvements, cost optimization, etc.)
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, and Operations
  • Develop and maintain program roadmaps, timelines, milestones, and deliverables
  • Track progress, identify risks/issues, and implement mitigation strategies
  • Provide executive-level reporting, dashboards, and insights to leadership stakeholders
  • Ensure alignment between business strategy and program execution
  • Lead resource planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities
  • Facilitate decision-making forums, steering committees, and stakeholder meetings
  • Drive continuous improvement in PMO processes, tools, and methodologies

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 8+ years of experience in Program Management / PMO / Business Operations
  • Strong experience working in automotive, EV, manufacturing, or high-tech environments
  • Proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional programs
  • Expertise in PMO frameworks, governance models, and reporting structures
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience with tools such as JIRA, Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in electric vehicle (EV) programs or product development lifecycle
  • PMP / PgMP / Agile certifications
  • Exposure to product launch, supply chain, or manufacturing operations
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, scaling organization
