Top Priority: Microsoft Teams Voice (Mandatory)This role is
hands-on and Teams-centric. The most important qualification is deep experience with

Core ResponsibilitiesUnified Communications / VoIP / Telephony (Microsoft Teams)- Lead architecture, deployment, and lifecycle management of Microsoft Teams-based voice solutions
- Support and execute telephony migrations from legacy systems
- Engineer and support both call center and corporate voice environments
- Ensure reliability, scalability, and operational excellence across UC platforms
Conference Room Engineering (Hands-On + Design)A hybrid role with both implementation and architecture responsibilities.
Technology Selection & Installations- Select and standardize conference room technology and AV stacks
- Design and deploy Teams Rooms for new office builds (including the new HQ)
- Work with vendors and internal partners during build-outs and implementations
Troubleshooting & Support- Resolve issues ranging from basic endpoint problems to architectural challenges
- Provide escalation-level support for conference room and AV systems
Microsoft 365 AdministrationGeneral M365 administrative capabilities are required, including:
- Microsoft Teams administration
- SharePoint administration
- Broad Microsoft 365 tenant management

hands-on engineering with
strategic UC leadership, ensuring seamless collaboration experiences across the organization.
Key ResponsibilitiesUnified Communications Design & Implementation- Design, deploy, and manage enterprise UC platforms (Teams, Teams Voice, Teams Rooms, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Zoom)
- Integrate UC solutions with enterprise workflows and security standards
- Automate provisioning, monitoring, and incident response workflows
AV & Conference Room Technology- Support and maintain AV systems for ~22 conference rooms, including premium spaces
- Define standards and documentation for AV and video conferencing systems
- Troubleshoot and support technologies such as Poly/Polycom, Shure, Biamp, Dante, and Crestron
Operational Excellence & Governance- Establish governance practices, sprint reviews, and UC roadmaps
- Strengthen security posture for shared devices and meeting spaces
- Ensure platform observability, resilience, and rapid incident response
Collaboration & Vendor Management- Partner with Workplace Solutions, IT, and Security teams
- Manage vendors, evaluate solutions, and lead proof-of-concept initiatives
- Maintain financial stewardship for UC and AV investments
Coaching & Continuous Improvement- Mentor junior engineers and share best practices
- Develop standards, templates, and automation frameworks
- Use data-driven insights to improve UC performance and reliability
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of engineering experience with enterprise UC and video platforms
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams Voice and Teams Rooms
- Deep knowledge of VoIP, UC security design, and telephony migrations
- Experience with AV ecosystems, signal flow, device management, and troubleshooting
- Ability to automate operational processes through scripting or workflow tools
- Strong troubleshooting mindset and customer service orientation
Preferred Qualifications- Financial services industry experience
- Experience with Logitech Rally and advanced room systems
- Familiarity with Crestron programming (nice to have, not required)
- Experience with security and identity integration for shared or multi-user devices
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Appleton, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
