OverviewOur client is seeking a
Senior Microsoft 365 Full Stack Engineer to support and advance its Microsoft 365 environment. This role requires deep, hands-on expertise across the entire M365 suite-not just one or two components. The team has a significant volume of work in this space, particularly as internal engineers are increasingly focused on Copilot initiatives and AI-driven projects.
This contractor will play a key role in administration, configuration, automation, governance, and support across all major M365 services, while also helping shape the future of the clients M365 and Copilot environment.
Key Responsibilities- Administer, configure, and support the full Microsoft 365 platform, including:
- Exchange Online
- Microsoft Teams
- SharePoint Online
- Viva Engage
- Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps)
- Provide break/fix support across Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, Power Platform, and related services
- Evaluate, implement, and govern new M365 features and capabilities
- Design and implement scripting and automation solutions (PowerShell, Python)
- Support expansion of AI workloads, including Copilot and agentic AI initiatives
- Increase maturity and automation within the Power Platform ecosystem
- Participate in an on-call rotation (required)
- Collaborate with Senior engineers and stakeholders to align M365 solutions with business needs
Required Skills & ExperienceCore Platform Experience (Required):- Deep, broad knowledge of Microsoft 365 tenant administration
- Exchange Online administration (preferred or strong willingness to cross-train)
- Microsoft Teams administration
- SharePoint Online administration
- Viva Engage
- Power Platform:
- Power Automate
- Power Apps
- Understanding of governance, automation, and platform scalability
- Familiarity with Power Platform virtualization is a plus
Technical Skills:- PowerShell (strong)
- Python (preferred)
- Scripting, automation, and troubleshooting workflows
- Experience with M365 admin centers and platform configurations
Senior-Level Expectations- Ability to plug in quickly and operate independently across the full M365 stack
- Design and architecture mindset with strategic planning capabilities
- Mentor and guide other engineers; share best practices and technical knowledge
- Comfortable balancing hands-on engineering with Senior-level ownership
Nice to Have- Copilot experience
- Prior experience supporting enterprise AI initiatives
- Governance and compliance exposure (e.g., Purview)

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Appleton, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $55.00 - $70.00/hr.
