Genesis10 is currently seeking a Python Developer - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role focuses on Python development for structured note pricing logic within a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with complex system integrations, interpreting business requirements, and collaborating with business and technical stakeholders. This position requires three days onsite per week.
Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain Python-based solutions for structured note pricing logic
- Work with complex dependencies and system integration points
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver on project goals
- Resolve technical blockers based on sound technical reasoning
Requirements: - Strong Python development capability
- Experience with SQL
- Good grasp of structured products and payoff mechanics, or ability to learn quickly
- Methodical and thorough, with the ability to validate assumptions and explore possible solutions
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret business requirements
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Experience with Microsoft Office
Pay range: $58.26 - $66.26 per hour
