Product Owner / Technical Business Analyst

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina (Hybrid)

Role Overview

This Product Owner/Technical Analyst role is integral to a team focused on innovating financial center applications and client experiences. The position involves leading backlog management, including requirement development, process analysis, and user story definition for a scrum team. This role helps ensure that impediments to delivery are resolved and supports the team's progression in Agile maturity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and facilitate Agile ceremonies, including Backlog Refinement, Program Increment (PI) Planning, ART Sync, System Demos, and Retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with the Portfolio Manager to maintain a healthy product backlog.
  • Facilitate dependency management, risk management, and impediment removal for the team.
  • Promote communication and collaboration to support value delivery and PI commitments.
  • Provide status updates and reports on plans, delivery, timelines, and impediments to stakeholders.
  • Ensure enterprise change management and other policy requirements are met.
  • Measure and review team delivery, maturity, and performance to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Decompose Epics into user stories, define acceptance criteria, and prioritize the backlog.
  • Ensure user stories meet the Definition of Ready before work begins and the Definition of Done upon completion.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and stakeholders to ensure work alignment.
  • Support deployment activities and production validation to ensure quality standards are met.
Required Qualifications

Experience: Experience as a Business Analyst in an Agile environment.

Technical Skills: Proficiency with Agile tools (Jira) and Microsoft Office.
