Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Python Developer to join our dynamic team supporting banking technology and Generative AI initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python, GenAI lifecycle and RAG pipelines, vector databases, API development, and containerized deployments and a proven ability to deliver secure, scalable AI-driven applications for document processing, risk analytics, and compliance reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Develop object-oriented applications in Python using sound engineering practices.


• Design and optimize embedding storage and retrieval with vector databases.


• Implement GenAI lifecycle and RAG pipelines, including chunking, embedding, retrieval, re-ranking, and summarization for banking use cases.


• Evaluate and test embedding models and frameworks for performance, latency, memory, and cost.


• Apply prompt engineering, hallucination mitigation, and grounding techniques in AI solutions.


• Build API-driven applications using FastAPI, API Gateway, and integrate with MongoDB, Redis, and modern front-end frameworks.


• Develop utilities, automation frameworks, and data pipelines to support AI/ML and GenAI initiatives.


• Create monitoring dashboards and automation scripts for system health and performance.


• Collaborate with DevOps teams using enterprise tools such as Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory, and Ansible.


• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, compliant, and scalable solutions in a regulated environment.


• Explore agentic architectures for orchestration and multi-step reasoning in AI workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Python with strong object-oriented software development skills.


• Experience with vector databases and retrieval optimization.


• Deep knowledge of GenAI lifecycle management and RAG pipelines.


• Expertise in prompt engineering and AI safety techniques.


• Hands-on experience with FastAPI, Django or Flask, MongoDB, Redis, and API integrations.


• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes, including OpenShift deployments.


• Knowledge of model testing and evaluation frameworks for performance and reliability.


• Understanding of Kafka queue integration and configurations.


• Familiarity with DevOps practices and enterprise tooling, including Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory, and Ansible.


• Ability to work effectively with large cross-functional teams in a regulated environment.


• Experience level: 5+ years in relevant roles.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and serverless architectures.


• Knowledge of agentic architectures and orchestration frameworks.


• Exposure to AI/ML use cases in regulatory relations or risk analytics.
