Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead enterprise cloud transformation initiatives focused on migrating on-premise data workloads to modern cloud-based data platforms. This role will manage complex technology projects across cloud infrastructure, data engineering, analytics, and enterprise applications while coordinating cross-functional teams and vendors. The ideal candidate has strong experience delivering AWS cloud migration projects, managing enterprise IT initiatives, and driving projects from planning through implementation in a fast paced environment.

Job Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex IT projects, including planning, execution, testing, implementation, and project closeout
- Manage cloud migration initiatives, including transitioning on-premise data workloads to cloud-based data platforms
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across infrastructure, data engineering, applications, security, and business stakeholders
- Facilitate project meetings, track action items, and ensure key decisions and issues are resolved in a timely manner
- Oversee vendor engagements, including RFP processes, proof-of-concept initiatives, and implementation support
- Monitor project progress and proactively manage dependencies, resource allocation, and competing priorities
- Provide regular project status updates, reporting, and risk assessments to leadership and stakeholders
- Ensure project deliverables align with operational, compliance, and financial objectives
- Support enterprise cloud transformation initiatives and the development of modern data and analytics capabilities
qualifications:
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience managing complex enterprise IT or technology projects
- Proven experience leading cloud migration initiatives, including moving on-premise workloads to cloud environments
- Hands-on experience working with AWS or other major cloud platforms
- Experience supporting data platforms, analytics environments, or data engineering initiatives
- Familiarity with data replication, streaming, or analytics pipelines
- Understanding of cloud architecture concepts including DevOps, FinOps, and MLOps
- Experience working with managed databases, SaaS data platforms (e.g., Snowflake), and enterprise applications
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, DevOps, or Waterfall project management methodologies
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Preferred:
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Agile certification
- AWS cloud certifications
- Experience supporting enterprise cloud transformation initiatives in large organizations
