Role Overview
We are seeking a Buyer to support the procurement of construction materials and services. This role is integral to our operations as we establish and build out our procurement processes. The ideal candidate will manage procurement workflows, support bid analysis, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely acquisition of necessary resources for construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and manage vendor outreach and onboarding.
- Conduct pricing analysis and handle procurement documentation.
- Support bid leveling and comparison by organizing quotes from multiple suppliers into comparable formats.
- Assist in maintaining supplier databases and trackers.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders on procurement timelines and requirements.
- Manage procurement workflows manually while new systems are being implemented.
Required Qualifications
Experience: Experience in the construction supply chain is strongly preferred. Suitable backgrounds include commercial construction, industrial facilities, or infrastructure procurement.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required to manage procurement workflows manually.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with procurement or ERP tools such as SAP Ariba, Oracle, or Jaggaer.
Compensation & Benefits
The estimated pay range for this position is $34.00/hr to $44.00/hr. A comprehensive benefits package is available to eligible employees.
