Description:

Seeking highly motivated and self-directed Project Schedulers to create, update, and maintain project schedules supporting CCN NG systems readiness, VFMP modernization, and associated EDI initiatives. This role develops milestones and tasks, integrates schedules with Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), coordinates schedule inputs with stakeholders, and updates schedules regularly (e.g., weekly). The ideal candidate has strong MS Project expertise and experience supporting both Agile cadence and enterprise schedule integration.

These positions are contingent upon contract award.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop, manage, and maintain integrated project schedules using MS Project (or approved scheduling tools).

Build and maintain milestones, dependencies, and critical paths across multiple workstreams and stakeholders.

Gather schedule inputs from project leads, technical teams, and business owners; validate sequencing and dependency logic.

Integrate project schedules into enterprise-level IMS and support regular refresh cycles and reporting.

Support Agile cadence alignment (PI planning cycles, sprint-level execution visibility) while maintaining IMS integrity.

Produce schedule views and artifacts for stakeholder briefings (look-aheads, variance analysis, milestones at risk).

Track schedule risks and propose mitigation options in coordination with project leadership.

Required Skills:

Advanced schedule development and maintenance skills; strong proficiency in MS Project.

Strong analytical skills to identify schedule drivers, risk areas, and dependency bottlenecks.

Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate schedule inputs across diverse teams.


Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Security clearance.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Familiarity with VA or federal program scheduling standards and governance.

Experience supporting both waterfall and Agile delivery scheduling in hybrid environments.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience).

3+ years experience in project scheduling for large-scale IT or healthcare programs.

Preferred: MS Project certification and/or PMP
