AEM Authoring and Content Execution Designer
Overview

We are seeking an AEM Authoring and Content Execution Designer to support the build, execution, and optimization of digital experiences. This role will focus on authoring and publishing content within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), ensuring high-quality, accurate, and compliant web experiences that align with brand, UX, and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
AEM Authoring & Content Execution
  • Build, edit, and publish web pages and digital experiences using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM Sites)
  • Utilize templates, components, and content fragments to assemble pages aligned with brand and UX standards
  • Configure page properties, metadata, tagging, and SEO elements
  • Ensure proper linking, navigation structure, and accessibility compliance
  • Manage content updates, publishing schedules, and version control within AEM
Digital Content Development
  • Execute end-to-end content builds for landing pages, campaign pages, and site updates
  • Apply approved creative assets, copy, and component configurations to deliver accurate digital experiences
  • Partner with Content Creators, UX teams, and Digital Strategists to align on business goals and timelines
  • Support personalization and localization initiatives using AEM capabilities
  • Conduct thorough QA, including layout validation, link checks, responsiveness, and accessibility
Collaboration & Workflow Management
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Audience Builders, Channel Leads, Creative teams, Product and MarTech partners, Legal, and UX
  • Participate in content intake, sprint planning, and delivery updates (experience with Workfront and Rally is a plus)
  • Ensure alignment with compliance, brand standards, and accessibility requirements
  • Maintain clear documentation of page builds, requirements, and approvals
  • Support publishing workflows, including approvals and scheduled releases
Quality Assurance & Optimization
  • Perform QA across browsers, devices, and screen sizes to ensure a consistent user experience
  • Identify and resolve content or rendering issues within AEM
  • Recommend enhancements to templates, components, and authoring processes
  • Support A/B testing and optimization efforts by implementing test variations accurately
  • Maintain high standards for accuracy, usability, and brand consistency
Data, Compliance & Governance
  • Adhere to digital governance, accessibility (e.g., WCAG), and privacy requirements
  • Ensure all content aligns with legal and regulatory standards
  • Support audit readiness through documentation and adherence to workflows
  • Ensure proper handling of customer-facing content and disclosures
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in digital content authoring or web content management
  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM Sites) or similar CMS platforms
  • Experience building and publishing web pages using templates and reusable components
  • Strong attention to detail with a rigorous QA and testing mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple content requests and deadlines simultaneously

  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG), SEO best practices, and digital usability principles
  • Experience working within Agile or similar delivery frameworks
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for troubleshooting layout or content issues
  • Familiarity with Adobe Experience Cloud tools (e.g., Analytics, Target, AEP)
  • Experience supporting personalization or localization efforts
  • Understanding of digital performance metrics and optimization techniques
