Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Application Programmer III to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Oracle PL/SQL development, performance tuning, and CI/CD and a proven ability to design, implement, and optimize large-scale enterprise solutions in agile environments.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze client stories, produce story-level designs, and translate them into high-quality deliverables.
- Learn business processes and apply domain knowledge to assigned tasks and features.
- Collaborate within Agile teams to plan, develop, test, and deliver increments.
- Demonstrate strong programming, communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor developers across multiple Agile teams.
- Assess existing code and infrastructure to understand current state before proposing changes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 10+ years of professional experience in software development.
- Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL including packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and analytic functions.
- Hands-on experience developing and maintaining PL/SQL components and SQL statements in Oracle 19c.
- Proficiency in performance tuning and optimization of SQL and PL/SQL code.
- Ability to define and maintain reusable development standards and best practices.
- Strong facilitation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated experience designing solution approaches for large-scale enterprise systems.
- Proven experience conducting code reviews and mentoring across Agile teams.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using SDM platforms and tools such as Horizon, Bitbucket, and Artifactory.
- Ability to read code in multiple languages and inspect infrastructure to inform changes.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in financial services or other large enterprise environments.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum ceremonies and tooling.
