Job Title: Data Management Business Analyst - Investment Banking

Location: Charlotte, NC | Hybrid 3x/week

Contract Length: 12+ months (likely extension)

Rate: $50-60/hr (depending on years of experience)

Top Requirements:

5+ years BA experience supporting data integration/data programs in financial services

Investment Banking / Capital Markets background (Markets preferred)

Strong requirements gathering - business + technical data requirements

Experience working with senior stakeholders in regulated environments

Process & data flow diagram experience

Plusses:

Markets data across asset classes

Data governance / data quality / lineage exposure

Enterprise data transformation programs

Visio, Confluence, Jira

Job Summary:

This consultant will support a strategic data integration initiative focused on standardizing and streamlining data feeds from multiple front-, middle-, and back-office systems into approved enterprise data sources. The role will partner closely with Market & Counterparty Risk stakeholders and data providers to translate business needs into structured business and technical data requirements.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Partner with risk consumers and data providers to define and document business and technical data requirements
• Ensure alignment with approved system-of-record and enterprise data sources
• Create and maintain business process flow and data flow diagrams
• Support senior project leads with working sessions, executive materials, and stakeholder communications
• Track risks, issues, and dependencies across cross-functional teams
