Role: Business Analyst with Customer Data Platform (CDP) Implementation

Detailed JD (Roles and Responsibilities):
Lead end-to-end CDP implementation as a Business Analyst for a large consumer goods client
Gather, document, and translate business requirements into CDP functional specifications
Work closely with data engineering and martech teams on profile stitching unifying customer identities across web, mobile, CRM, and offline touchpoints
Define and configure audience segments based on behavioral, demographic, and intent data for marketing use cases
Drive data activation workflows ensuring segments are accurately pushed to downstream platforms (ad networks, CRMs, ESPs, DSPs)
Collaborate with marketing, IT, and analytics stakeholders to align CDP capabilities with business goals
Support UAT, data validation, and go-live activities during CDP rollout
Mandatory skills:
Hands-on CDP implementation experience (e.g., Segment, Salesforce Data Cloud, Adobe Real-Time CDP, Tealium, or mParticle)
Profile stitching identity resolution across multiple data sources
Audience segmentation building and managing customer segments for activation
Data activation pushing segments to downstream martech and adtech platforms
Strong BA skills requirements gathering, user stories, functional specs, process flows
Willingness and ability to travel frequently to New York
Desired/ Secondary skills:
CPG, Retail, or Beauty/FMCG domain experience
Stakeholder management across business and technical teams
Knowledge of data privacy and compliance GDPR, CCPA, consent management
Familiarity with broader martech stack CRM, DMP, ESP, DSP integrations
