Position: Drupal Full Stack Developer
Location: Massachusetts (Hybrid / Remote eligible within MA)
Duration: Through 6/30/26 (with possibility of extension)
Rate: Negotiable Based on Experience

Detailed List of Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with agency stakeholders, developers, and project managers to analyze business requirements and design scalable Drupal solutions.
- Develop and maintain Drupal 11 websites, including custom modules, content types, themes, and system integrations.
- Lead end-to-end content migration strategies, including data mapping, transformation, taxonomy configuration, metadata management, and validation.
- Build and maintain responsive, standards-compliant front-end components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Integrate third-party systems and services using RESTful APIs and web services.
- Configure and manage Drupal site elements such as content types, views, menus, blocks, workflows, roles, and permissions.
- Ensure all implementations meet WCAG 2.1 Level A and AA accessibility standards.
- Optimize application performance, security, and scalability through caching strategies and code optimization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the full application stack.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and contribute to coding standards and best practices.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and knowledge transfer to team members on Drupal development and platform capabilities.
- Stay current with Drupal core updates, contributed modules, and emerging web technologies.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or Certificate in Web Development, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in full stack web development, with a strong focus on Drupal.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Drupal, including custom module development and theming.
- Strong understanding of Drupal architecture, configuration management, and deployment processes.
- Proven ability to translate complex requirements into maintainable, scalable technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accessibility, performance, and code quality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in remote Linux environments using CLI and Docker.
- Proficiency in PHP, Twig, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern development workflows.
- Experience with Drupal APIs, configuration management, and deployment pipelines.
- Strong working knowledge of WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards and implementation techniques.
- Experience with content migration tools such as Drupal Migrate API and structured content modeling.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap) and JavaScript libraries/frameworks (e.g., React, jQuery).
- Experience integrating external systems via RESTful APIs and working with decoupled or headless Drupal architectures.
- Knowledge of Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Figma for interpreting UI requirements (design interpretation only).
