Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
- Program PLCs, HMIs, and industrial robots to optimize production efficiency and quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation system issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and define project requirements.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and operating procedures.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for automation-related failures.
- Stay current with emerging automation technologies and industry best practices.
Recommended Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in industrial automation, control systems, and robotics within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi) and HMI/SCADA development.
- Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus).
- Experience with vision systems, sensors, and other automation components.
Bonus Qualifications- Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma).
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for industrial control systems (ICS).
- Experience with vision systems and robotic integration.
- Certifications in relevant automation platforms (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000).
