Senior Oracle EBS Technical Developer / Programmer Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Technical Developer / Programmer Analyst to support and enhance enterprise HR and Financial applications. The selected candidate will work as one of two senior developers within an Agile development team, responsible for developing, customizing, maintaining, and supporting Oracle EBS applications.

The ideal candidate must have extensive hands-on experience with Oracle EBS 12.2 or above, PL/SQL development, Oracle Forms and Reports, and Oracle HR and Financial modules.

Note: Only qualified candidates located in the Richmond, VA area will be considered due to the position requiring on-site presence.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience working with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) 12.2 or above.

• Extensive technical experience with Oracle EBS in Linux server environments hosted on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

• Strong hands-on development experience with Oracle EBS Financial modules, including Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), and Purchasing.

• Experience with Oracle EBS HR modules, including iRecruitment, Human Resources, and Time and Labor.

• Proficiency in Oracle Developer Suite, including Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle JDeveloper (Java), Oracle Workflow Builder, and PL/SQL.

• Strong experience in systems analysis, application design, and technical development.

• Experience with Microsoft Office applications, Visio, and SharePoint.

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with Azure DevOps.

• Experience with Virginia Cardinal HR and/or Financial systems.

• Experience with Power BI paginated reports, desktop reports, and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, modify, test, debug, and implement Oracle EBS applications.

• Develop and maintain Oracle EBS 12.2 applications across Financial and HR modules.

• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical and database solutions.

• Perform application administration, production support, system maintenance, and troubleshooting.

• Develop and execute unit testing and system testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Define application input and output requirements and support production deployments.

• Maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and coding standards.

• Participate in Agile development activities and collaborate with team members.

• Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer to other client staff.
