Oracle ERP Testing Lead
Location: REMOTE
BASIC PURPOSE:
The Oracle ERP Testing Lead ensures that new or updated Oracle ERP functionality is thoroughly tested,
validated, and ready for business use, and coordinates end‑to‑end UAT and parallel testing activities,
validating results against legacy systems and guiding business users through test execution, defect
resolution, and readiness assessments. The Lead will ultimately confirm that the system meets business
requirements, produces accurate outcomes, and can be confidently deployed into production.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Lead end‑to‑end User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and parallel testing cycles: Own the full testing
lifecycle—including planning, execution oversight, defect management, and readiness sign‑off—to
ensure the system meets business requirements before go‑live.
• Develop UAT and parallel testing strategy, test plans, test scripts, and acceptance criteria: Translate
business processes and requirements into structured, traceable test assets that guide business
testers and ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Lead and govern testing execution across business and IT teams during UAT and parallel testing
execution: Establish structured execution frameworks, governance cadence, and accountability
across testing teams.
• Validate Oracle ERP functionality across key modules: Confirm that Oracle modules and integrations
operate as designed and support end‑to‑end business workflows.
• Manage defect lifecycle and drive timely resolution: Log defects, prioritize issues, coordinate with
technical teams, verify fixes, and ensure retesting is completed to maintain quality and project
momentum.
• Validate integrations, data conversions, and reporting outputs: Ensure that upstream/downstream
systems, data migration activities, and reporting tools function correctly and produce accurate
results.
• Define and enforce entry and exit criteria for UAT and parallel testing, ensuring readiness through
completed test preparation, data validation, and environment stability for entry, and confirming exit
based on successful test execution, defect resolution thresholds, and validated results against legacy
systems.
• Assess UAT and parallel testing results and provide go/no‑go recommendations: Synthesize test
outcomes, identify risks, and present objective readiness assessments to leadership to support
deployment decisions.
• Maintain test management tools and produce status reporting: Use platforms such as Jira to track
progress, document evidence, and deliver clear, actionable reporting to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with project methodology: Align UAT and parallel testing activities with sprint
cycles, release schedules, and project governance requirements to keep testing synchronized with
overall delivery.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve issues and improve processes, and coordinate
and verify the work of offshore and onshore resources.
• Drive objective go/no‑go recommendations based on test results, quality gates, and business
readiness.
Must have the ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable
accommodation.
