We are seeking a Quality Assurance Consultant with over eight years of experience. The role is responsible for testing and delivering complex software requirements to achieve business outcomes. The position involves ensuring software meets functional, non-functional, and compliance standards through comprehensive testing. This is an individual contributor role for a candidate with a proven history of delivering high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead test planning, strategy, and case reviews, collaborating with subject matter experts to ensure complete test coverage.
- Condition and generate test data, and build and execute manual and automated test suites.
- Implement and maintain test automation frameworks, identify automation opportunities, and develop test automation scripts.
- Execute both manual and automated tests, and report defects with clear background information.
- Create and manage traceability throughout the development lifecycle.
- Maintain and catalog test suites for various test types, including Smoke, Integration, and Regression.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Communicate test results and assist with defect triage.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
Technical Skills: Proven experience in UI and API test automation with Java using Selenium and RestAssured. Experience with Jenkins, GitHub, and/or BitBucket is required.
Certifications: Lean Agile Certification is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with both Automation and Manual Testing.
