Job Title: Scrum Master/Project Manager

Length: 12-18 Month Contract to Hire

Location: Tampa, FL

Onsite Requirement: 3 Days on site

Position Overview:
  • Large volume of applications modernizing in the cloud (primarily AWS) this team focuses on delivery of services.
  • When a peer application development team requests infra related service, this team takes what has been scoped and negotiates with enablement team, and creates the consumable services for the infrastructure team.
  • Cloud modernization is main driver for this project.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution:
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Lead all phases of the project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.


Team & Stakeholder Management:
  • Assemble and manage project teams, ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Provide regular status updates and escalate issues as needed.


Risk & Quality Management:
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and compliance requirements.
  • Manage changes in scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate control processes.


Performance Tracking & Reporting:
  • Monitor progress against KPIs and project milestones
  • Prepare and present reports on project health, budget, and timelines to leadership.


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience managing projects in IT, infrastructure, or business process improvement.
  • Experience in Iaac or Iaas - Infrastructure as a code or Infrastructure as a service
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.


Preferred Skills
  • Experience with risk management, budgeting, and resource planning.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with SDLC and change management processes
