We are seeking an Application Programmer to contribute to backend development and design activities for mid-tier applications within the Fraud and Claims domain. The selected associate will be a part of a dynamic team, engaging in daily interactions with developers, project managers, business analysts, and other partners. This role involves supporting critical applications and collaborating with both upstream and downstream systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in backend development and design for mid-tier applications.
- Collaborate with team members, including developers, project managers, and business analysts.
- Engage with upstream and downstream application teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Contribute to daily support activities for the designated applications.
- Adhere to a hybrid work schedule, with a minimum of three days per week onsite.
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills:- Experience in Java Application Development and Object-Oriented programming.
- Proficiency with the Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, ORM, MVC, and Batch.
- Knowledge of Core Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka.
- Experience with SOA, REST/SOAP web services, and JSON/XML.
- Familiarity with source control tools such as BitBucket or GIT.
- Experience with Maven, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Continuous Integration (CI).
- Working knowledge of NoSQL databases, specifically Cassandra.
- Experience with at least one relational database system such as Oracle or SQL Server.
- Experience with Apache Kafka or other MQ messaging frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications:- Exposure to cloud technologies and platforms.
