Job#: 3027466 Job Description: Role OverviewThis contingent role supports moderately complex Software Engineering initiatives by designing, developing, and enhancing applications across both backend and frontend components. You will evaluate technical challenges, contribute to planning and delivery efforts, and collaborate with engineering partners to ensure solutions meet performance, quality, and compliance standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer who can move comfortably between design discussions and writing production-ready code.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain backend services and application logic using Python.
- Build responsive, modern user interfaces using ReactJS.
- Participate in solution design, code reviews, and technical problem-solving.
- Analyze moderately complex engineering challenges and propose effective solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with engineering standards and delivery requirements.
- Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Required Qualifications- 4+ years of professional Software Engineering experience (or equivalent through work, consulting, training, military service, or education).
- 2-4 years of hands-on Python development experience.
- 4-6 years of experience building applications with ReactJS.
- Ability to design solutions and independently implement high-quality code.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate multiple technical factors.
- Experience collaborating within engineering teams and working within established processes and standards.
