We are seeking a Software Engineer to consult on and contribute to moderately complex software engineering initiatives with a focus on data analytics and full-stack development. This role requires hands-on experience with analytics platforms like ServiceNow Analytics and Power BI, as well as application development using modern full-stack technologies. The engineer will work within an Agile environment to support sprint-based delivery and ensure solutions align with enterprise policies and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to moderately complex software engineering and analytics initiatives.
- Develop and enhance data analytics solutions using ServiceNow Platform Analytics and Power BI.
- Support full-stack application development using .NET and/or Angular.
- Translate Agile user stories into technical designs and working software.
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Analyze and resolve technical and data-related challenges.
- Collaborate with peers, product owners, and stakeholders to meet deliverables.
- Ensure solutions comply with internal policies, procedures, and standards.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Data analytics experience across multiple platforms, including ServiceNow Platform Analytics and Power BI.
- Full-stack development experience, preferably with .NET and Angular.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and client personnel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience integrating analytics platforms with application layers.
- Exposure to additional BI or reporting tools.
- Experience working in large enterprise or regulated environments.
- Communication skills to translate analytical findings into technical solutions.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay rate for this position is $53.00/hr - $57.00/hr.
