Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Project Manager to operate within a structured
PMO environment supporting a diverse portfolio of IT initiatives. This role is ideal for a confident, self-directed PM who is comfortable managing
multiple projects simultaneously and driving execution with minimal oversight. Projects span a variety of IT domains, requiring strong foundational project management skills rather than deep specialization in one technical area.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage 2-5 concurrent IT projects, depending on size and complexity, from initiation through delivery
- Drive projects at various stages of maturity, quickly assessing status, risks, and priorities
- Apply both Waterfall and Agile methodologies, determining the most appropriate approach based on project needs
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver initiatives such as:
- ServiceNow enhancements
- Security, compliance, and NIST-related initiatives
- Application enhancements and upgrades
- Develop and maintain project artifacts including project plans, schedules, risk logs, and status reporting in alignment with PMO standards
- Proactively identify, manage, and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies
- Communicate clearly and directly with stakeholders at all levels while maintaining professionalism and strong working relationships
- Ensure adherence to PMO governance, healthcare regulations, and organizational standards
Required Qualifications
- PMP Certification (required)
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification
- Proven experience working within a formal, structured PMO environment
- Healthcare industry experience (payer, provider, or healthcare IT)
- Demonstrated success managing multiple IT projects concurrently
Preferred Experience & Tools
- Familiarity with project and work management tools such as:
- Azure DevOps (ADO)
- ServiceNow
- Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.)
- Experience with other enterprise project tracking tools is acceptable
