Technical Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Technical Project Manager in Orlando, FL.

Overview:
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager with hands on development exposure to help bring structure, clarity, and delivery rigor to a growing technical team. This role is ideal for someone who is not a traditional, administrative only PM, but instead can work closely with developers, understand the technical landscape, and actively guide execution using Agile/Scrum practices.

The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for driving project planning, defining milestones and deliverables, improving Scrum execution, and ensuring cross functional alignment across technical initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
* Drive Agile/Scrum project execution, ensuring ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) are effectively implemented and followed
* Establish and maintain project structure, including timelines, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables
* Partner closely with developers to translate business requirements into actionable technical work
* Track progress, risks, blockers, and dependencies; Proactively escalate and resolve issues
* Support backlog grooming, sprint prioritization, and release planning
* Act as a bridge between technical teams and stakeholders, ensuring clarity, transparency, and accountability
* Contribute light technical support as needed (code reviews, troubleshooting, solution discussions)

REQUIREMENTS:
* 2-3+ years of experience in technical project management, Scrum Master, or hybrid PM/developer roles
* Hands on experience working with software development teams
* Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology and software delivery lifecycles
* Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to thrive in an evolving environment where processes are still being refined
* Willingness to be onsite in Orlando at least 3 days per week (non negotiable)

Technical Environment:
Exposure to or working knowledge of the following is strongly preferred:
* Low code/analytics platforms: Mendix, Alteryx
* Data & scripting: Python, Snowflake
* BI & visualization: Tableau, Power BI
* Automation concepts: RPA/UiPath (high level understanding)

Preferred Qualifications:
* Scrum Master, PMP, or Agile certifications (preferred, not required)
* Exposure to RPA initiatives or automation projects
* Interest in emerging AI enabled or data driven project work

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
