We are seeking an experienced Performance Tester to lead performance testing efforts, including project analysis and resource assignments. The ideal candidate will participate in defining performance test requirements, manage a team of testers, and lead defect triage meetings. This role requires mobilizing team members for root cause analysis of performance bottlenecks and providing guidance on test strategy and results.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead performance testing efforts, including project analysis and resource assignments.
- Participate in performance test requirements gathering and ensure task completion.
- Manage and guide a team of Performance Testers.
- Lead performance defect triage meetings and drive towards solutions.
- Mobilize team members for root cause analysis of issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Review and provide guidance on performance test plans, strategies, and results.
- Diagnose complex technical issues and leverage profiling tools to analyze application performance.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel.
Required Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of 10-15 years in Performance Testing.
Technical Skills:- LoadRunner (Performance Center/LRE)
- JMeter
- Dynatrace
- Splunk
- Scripting in VUGen & JMeter (Web services, Web HTTP/HTML Protocol/Truclient)
- Analytical abilities with heap and thread dumps.
- Solid understanding of software development and architecture (Java / .NET).
- Bottleneck analysis, requirements gathering, and leading triages.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in JMeter.
- Parasoft / CA Virtualize / iTKO LISA (Service virtualization).
- Container Technology: Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
- Experience with Enterprise Integration Patterns and SOA (Service Oriented Architecture).
- Knowledge of Linux (RHEL), Redis Cache DB, IBM MQ, and Oracle (OEM/AWR).
- Familiarity with SQL Developer or TOAD, Cassandra (DevCenter/OpsCenter), and application servers like WebSphere, JBoss, or Apache Tomcat.
- Proficiency with network packet analysis tools such as WireShark.
- Experience with IBM support and analysis tools (Support Assistant Workbench, PMAT, TMDA, Memory Analyzer).
- Advanced troubleshooting skills: Javacore/thread dump analysis, heap dump analysis, analysis/JVM tuning.
