Role Overview
This role involves leading a large Salesforce project or multiple significant Salesforce projects. The position requires an individual who can work independently with limited direction and is evaluated on end results. The IT Project Manager will provide leadership and strategic direction on all information technology and client or business area issues to develop an IT environment that meets current and future business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, plan, orchestrate, and deliver strategic initiatives, including business, operational, and information technology deliverables.
- Manage all aspects of the project lifecycle and oversee all project phases.
- Rigorously manage scope to ensure commitments are achieved within the agreed-upon time, cost, and quality parameters.
- Validate financial forecasts and cost assumptions, providing ongoing reconciliation of resources and project expenditures.
- Define and track project milestones while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan.
- Anticipate, manage, and mitigate project risks, ensuring effective escalation to leadership.
- Manage meeting preparation and facilitation, ensuring effective tracking and closure of action items.
- Ensure compliance with all project and change management policies.
- Coordinate knowledge transfer and support for post-implementation production support teams.
Required Qualifications
Experience:- Extensive experience working with technical stakeholders to understand and drive complex technical solutions.
- Experience planning, organizing, and monitoring project performance using program management tools and techniques.
- Previous experience in agile/scrum software development concepts and practices.
- Experience developing and delivering presentations to senior management.
- Experience with stakeholder management.
Technical Skills:- Understanding of technical concepts around Salesforce, integration patterns, web services, and databases.
- Excellent analysis skills, particularly in capturing requirements from spreadsheets.
Professional Skills:- Strong business and financial acumen.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to identify, communicate, and address impediments efficiently.
- Good presentation skills for preparing and presenting information to stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5-7 years of direct work experience in a project leadership capacity.
- A university degree or college diploma in Business or Technology.
- Business Banking domain experience.
- Practical understanding of the JIRA Software Project Management framework.
- Experience working in a SAFe Agile environment.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Rate: $60.00/hr - $62.10/hr. The specific rate will be determined based on the selected candidate's experience and qualifications.
