Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Manager II to join our team in Saint Paul, Minnesota. This role involves managing and executing marketing projects, with a focus on digital creative deliverables and retail client portfolios. The ideal candidate will have strong project management experience, particularly in digital creative projects, and will be adept at fostering collaboration and driving results.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide project management thought-leadership, oversight, and support on all project deliverables.
  • Lead with a solution-focused approach to encourage best practices and ensure adherence to project controls.
  • Manage large integrated projects from conception to delivery, ensuring successful execution of digital creative deliverables.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering to ensure stakeholder needs are clearly understood and aligned with defined processes.
  • Participate in capacity planning across creative teams to provide a clear view of utilization and bandwidth.
  • Establish a strategy of continuous risk management to enable proactive decision-making throughout project execution.
  • Encourage positive thinking and consider key partner and business needs in decision-making processes.
  • Build and foster strong relationships with team members and key partners.
  • Collaborate with Account Directors and Managers to manage regular portfolio business reviews with stakeholders.
  • Prepare digital creative marketing recommendations, strategies, and actions for partners.
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree. In lieu of a degree, a high school diploma/GED and 6 years of experience leading digital creative projects in an agency environment.
  • 4+ years of project management experience.
  • Experience managing and mentoring cross-functional team members with high integrity and the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team toward a common goal.
  • Experience leading digital creative projects and managing resources for an advertising agency (either external or in-house agencies).

Desired Characteristics:
  • Understanding of the digital creative process and how to balance it with project management and workflow.
  • Experience navigating large and complex organizations, including gaining access to key executives and stakeholders.
  • Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
  • 3+ years of experience using Project Management Software (Workfront preferred).

Pay Range: $55 - $60

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
