Summary

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Functions as a hybrid IT support technician responsible for structured cabling installations and desktop support. Performs installation, termination, and testing of Cat6 cabling in accordance with industry standards (Panduit), including patch panels, drops, and cable management systems. Assists with large-scale cabling deployments across multiple facilities. Provides support for personal computers, printers, and other end-user equipment, including troubleshooting hardware and basic software issues. Ensures all work is completed accurately, safely, and in alignment with organizational standards.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or its equivalent is required. Technical training in structured cabling or electronics is preferred. Experience with Cat5e/Cat6 cabling installations, including termination and testing, is required. Experience working with Panduit or similar structured cabling systems is preferred. One year of experience in desktop support, including troubleshooting PCs, printers, and related equipment, is required. Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office products is required. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or structured cabling certifications are preferred.
