Description
We are looking for an experienced Application Support Engineer to join our team on a contract basis in Addison, Texas. In this role, you will focus on providing technical expertise and support for a variety of business applications within the retail industry. This position requires a proactive problem solver who can effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical users.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for business applications, including NetSuite, Point-of-Sale systems, and warehouse management platforms.
Collaborate with users to identify, analyze, and resolve application-related issues efficiently.
Deliver training sessions and create instructional materials for software users in both classroom and virtual settings.
Maintain a strong understanding of accounting principles to assist with systems managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, and payroll.
Work closely with franchise partners and stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation and operation of applications.
Develop and sustain technical knowledge across various business systems to support organizational needs.
Ensure timely and quality solutions are provided to clients, emphasizing excellent customer service.
Analyze data effectively to present insights and resolve technical challenges.
Travel domestically and internationally as required to support business operations.
Protect sensitive information with discretion and professionalism while adhering to organizational policies.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in software support or technical systems training.
Strong knowledge of business applications, including NetSuite, Point-of-Sale systems, and eCommerce platforms.
Familiarity with small business operations such as accounting, inventory management, and field service management.
Proven ability to explain complex technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-oriented mindset.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Proficiency in technologies such as Active Directory, Dell Technologies, Cisco, and computer hardware.
Valid driver's license with the ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
