Position Overview
In this role, you will lead a team of 4–6 India-based HRIS Analysts handling small-to-medium enhancements for Workday HCM. You will serve as the technical lead and configuration gatekeeper, ensuring all system changes are thoroughly reviewed and secured before production releases.
A significant focus of this contract will be preparing for the upcoming India Open Enrollment and executing a major revamp of the Onboarding and Termination processes.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and coordinate daily deliverables for an offshore team of 4–6 Workday Analysts.
Hands-on Configuration & QA: Review and audit complex HCM configurations, business processes, and security groups built by the staff prior to release deployment to ensure system integrity.
Project Delivery: Drive the end-to-end execution of the upcoming India Open Enrollment cycle and the strategic overhaul of the Onboarding and Termination life cycles.
Module Expertise: Provide subject matter expertise and hands-on support across core Workday HCM, Benefits, Compensation, and Performance Management.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary liaison between the technical offshore team and the business, effectively communicating project status, risks, and timelines to Director-level leadership and below.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years of hands-on Workday configuration experience, with a proven track record in a Lead or Principal Consultant capacity.
Offshore Management: Demonstrated experience managing or leading offshore technical teams (specifically in India).
Core Functional Expertise: Deep configuration experience in Workday Benefits, Compensation, and Performance Management. Experience managing Open Enrollment cycles is highly preferred.
Technical & Security Skills: Strong expertise in Workday Business Processes (BPs) and Workday Security Config (Configurable Security, Role-Based/User-Based security groups).
Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders ranging from analysts to Director-level executives.
