Please review the following job description:

Professional level role with knowledge and experience as a Scrum Master (Team Coach). Typically Scrum Masters at this level work with two or more mature teams at a time, under broad supervision and with little instruction. Delivery focused team leader. Enables Agile Kanban teams to realize value by facilitating Agile ceremonies, following Truist Best Practices, removing impediments, coaching on Agile processes and ensuring team rules are being observed.

This position is onsite, office-centric (5 days a week), based in a Truist core location:
North Carolina: Charlotte/Raleigh/Wilson/Greensboro
Georgia: Atlanta
Virginia: Richmond

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
  • Leverage knowledge of SAFe Agile and Scrum and Kanban principles to ensure that Team deliverables are met on time and within budget.
  • Facilitate team ceremonies.
  • Guide Agile teams as a servant leader, working with the Product Owners and team members.
  • Navigate the organization to remove impediments on behalf of the team.
  • Use Rally to track work items with the Agile teams.
  • Responsible for ensuring Truist Agile SDLC is appropriately followed.
  • Ensure Teams' Releases are on track for successful completion.
  • Troubleshoot, solve, or consult on, problems and recommend appropriate action.
  • May take on several components of an initiative or a complex component of an initiative.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years' professional experience, for example: at least two+ years in a delivery role (developer, tester, architect, BA, business owner, etc.)
  • Prior experience in a Scrum Master role
  • Two+ years of experience working on or with Agile teams
  • Communicate effectively with team members, management and product owners/managers

Preferred Qualifications:
  • College Degree in Computer Science, Math or related field of study
  • SAFe Scrum Master Certification or Certified Scrum Master or other industry recognized Scrum Master certification
