Summary

Key Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements for integration projects.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes and identify integration opportunities.
Create detailed business requirements documents (BRDs), functional requirements documents (FRDs), user stories, process flows, and data mapping specifications.
Work closely with developers, architects, and QA teams to ensure successful implementation of integration solutions.
Analyze source and target systems, data flows, APIs, and interfaces to support integration design and development.
Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, workshops, and stakeholder meetings.
Assist in defining test scenarios, validating business requirements, and supporting UAT activities.
Identify risks, dependencies, and gaps in integration processes and recommend solutions.
Support Agile project delivery by participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and other Agile ceremonies.
Ensure integration solutions align with business objectives and enterprise standards.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting technology or integration projects.
Strong experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
Experience working on system integrations, API implementations, middleware platforms, or data migration projects.
Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and data mapping concepts.
Experience with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience using Jira, Confluence, Visio, or similar tools.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Healthcare, Insurance, or Retail industries.
Exposure to integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica, Tibco, or Azure Integration Services.
Understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing, and cloud-based integrations.
Experience working with SQL and database concepts.
CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or Agile certifications are a plus.
