Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business System Analyst (BSA) to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, QA teams, and project managers to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements. The BSA will ensure that technology solutions align with business objectives and deliver value to the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business objectives, processes, and system requirements.
• Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
• Create Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), user stories, use cases, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications for development teams.
• Work closely with solution architects, developers, QA engineers, and product owners throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Support Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test scenarios, validating business requirements, and supporting end users.
• Assist in system implementation, deployment, and post-production support.
• Manage requirement traceability and ensure all business needs are addressed.
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and requirement review sessions.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and project documentation as required.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in business analysis and systems analysis.
• Excellent requirement gathering and documentation skills.
• Experience creating:
  • Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
  • Functional Requirement Documents (FRD)
  • User Stories
  • Use Cases
  • Process Flow Diagrams
  • Wireframes (basic level)
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with SQL for data analysis and validation.
• Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, and data mapping.
• Experience with requirements management and collaboration tools such as:
  • Jira
  • Confluence
  • Azure DevOps
  • Microsoft Visio
• Understanding of databases and data modeling concepts.
• Ability to work with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
