Network / Cloud Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Long Island City, NY that is seeking a Network/Cloud Engineer to support the design, implementation, administration, and optimization of enterprise network and cloud connectivity solutions. This role will be responsible for maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performing network environments across on-premises and cloud platforms while supporting ongoing infrastructure initiatives and operational excellence.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
* 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure
* Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, routing, switching, and wireless technologies
* Experience with enterprise networking platforms and cloud networking environments
* Knowledge of network security principles, identity management, and access control technologies
* Experience troubleshooting complex network issues in hybrid and cloud-based environments
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across technical teams
* Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
