Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Google Cloud Platform Cloud Engineer to support cloud migration and modernization initiatives by implementing enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure and automation standards. In this role, you will work within a DevOps environment to deploy scalable cloud infrastructure, implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC), build monitoring solutions, and ensure highly available cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

Deploy and manage Google Cloud Platform infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Integrate infrastructure deployments into automated CI/CD pipelines.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for secure Google Cloud Platform cloud services.
Configure highly available VPCs, Shared VPCs, and compute environments.
Collaborate with Security and IAM teams to implement secure, automated infrastructure.
Manage cloud identities, user access, organizations, and groups.
Design and implement monitoring, logging, and reporting solutions.
Evaluate new Google Cloud Platform capabilities and recommend cloud improvements.
Provide Tier-2 support for complex cloud infrastructure issues.
Participate in a 24x7x365 on-call rotation for production support.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
5+ years of experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform services, including Compute, Networking, Storage, Security, IAM, and Automation.
Experience deploying and managing enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure.
Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, YAML, and PowerShell.
Experience with Linux and Windows cloud environments.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect Certification.
Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer Certification.
Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar CI/CD platforms.
