Summary

We are looking for an experienced Test Architect to define and drive the overall QA vision, strategy, and architecture aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Selenium and Playwright, along with the ability to lead QA transformation initiatives, design scalable test frameworks, and mentor teams.

Key Responsibilities

Define and implement overall QA vision and test strategy aligned with business goals
Conduct QA maturity assessments and identify risks across projects
Identify test scope, non-functional requirements (NFRs), environments, and tool stack
Design and define test architecture including:
- Functional testing
- Automation testing
- Performance testing
Select appropriate frameworks, tools, and CI/CD strategies
Establish and implement Shift-Left and Shift-Right QA approaches
Design robust automation framework architecture
Define:
- Coding standards
- Test data management strategy
- Reusable components and utilities
Mentor and guide Test Leads and Automation Engineers
Monitor and improve test effectiveness, coverage, and quality metrics
Review automation health and manage technical debt
Optimize execution using parallel testing and cloud/grid-based solutions
Drive defect leakage prevention strategies and risk mitigation plans
Define and implement a continuous improvement roadmap including:
- AI-driven testing
- Self-healing automation
- Observability and analytics

Required Skills

12 14 years of experience in QA and Test Architecture
Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience each in Selenium and Playwright
Strong experience in test automation framework design and implementation
Expertise in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner)
Strong understanding of Agile/DevOps methodologies
Experience with cloud platforms and test grids (e.g., AWS, BrowserStack, Sauce Labs)
Excellent leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder communication skills
