Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Philadelphia, PA that is seeking a Jira Administrator.

Responsibilities:
* Configure, customize, and maintain Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence to support multiple teams and departments
* Design and optimize workflows, issue types, fields, screens, permissions, and notification schemes to align with business processes
* Create and maintain dashboards, filters, and reports that provide visibility into project status, performance, and workload
* Translate data into clear, actionable insights for project teams and leadership
* Manage user accounts, groups, and permissions, ensuring proper access controls, security, and compliance
* Serve as a point of escalation for Jira-related access and configuration issues
* Support and maintain integrations with third-party tools and internal systems to enable seamless workflows
* Build and manage automation rules to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency
* Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions
* Provide guidance and best practices to Jira users across the organization
* Partner with project managers, developers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into Jira solutions
* Monitor Atlassian updates and enhancements, recommending new features, plugins, or improvements
* Contribute to continuous improvement of Jira standards, documentation, and governance

REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven experience administering Jira and Confluence in a multi-team or enterprise environment
* Strong knowledge of Jira configuration concepts, including workflows, schemes, permissions, and project setups
* Experience creating dashboards, reports, filters, and automation rules within Jira
* Familiarity with Jira Service Management and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
* Experience integrating Jira with other tools and platforms is preferred
* Knowledge of scripting, REST APIs, or advanced Jira automation is a plus
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical users
* High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities independently

Preferred:
* Atlassian certification(s) (e.g., Jira Administrator) preferred but not required
* Experience supporting cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
