Top Requirements:
8+ years of experience in program or portfolio execution within complex, matrixed enterprise environments, with proven delivery across multiple workstreams.Demonstrated ability to own operating rhythms, drive portfolio execution end-to-end (intake through stabilization), and make independent, data-backed decisions.Advanced executive communication, analytics, and governance skills, including dashboarding, prioritization, capacity planning, and risk & control integration.Plusses:
Background comparable to Big 4 or large consulting firms at a Senior Manager-equivalent level, with experience running multiple concurrent initiatives.Familiarity with financial services environments, digital platforms, and enterprise risk & control frameworks.Job Summary:
In this role, the consultant will lead day-to-day operating routines, mature execution playbooks, and drive portfolio outcomes across multiple Enterprise Functional Teams (EFTs). The role spans intake, prioritization, delivery, adoption, and stabilization, ensuring executive-ready decisioning and sustained delivery health.
The consultant serves as the operational backbone of the organization, translating strategy into repeatable execution while embedding risk and control requirements. Independent thinking, adaptability, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving environment are essential.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Own the operating rhythm and portfolio execution across multiple EFT groups
Translate strategic objectives into repeatable delivery playbooks covering intake, prioritization, delivery, adoption, and stabilization
Lead execution of large-scale strategic initiatives, setting cadence, clearing blockers, and holding owners accountable for outcomes
Design and enforce execution standards and governance playbooks to improve efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness
Run capacity planning, pipeline management, and in-year replanning across assigned portfolios
Research and assess moderately complex business, operational, and strategic topics; develop clear, actionable recommendations
Exercise independent judgment-making decisions, not just recommendations-and escalate early with options and impact analysis
Plan and land programs end-to-end (e.g., process simplification, AI adoption, scalability initiatives), including benefits realization and stabilization criteria
Partner with Product, CIO organizations, Operations, Finance, and HR to co-author project plans, policies, procedures, and execution playbooks
Design and deliver executive-ready materials, including decision packets, dashboards, and SteerCo agendas
Maintain a single source of truth for portfolio health (schedule, scope, cost, risk) and publish executive dashboards
Serve as the primary liaison for risk and control integration, ensuring timely evidence and compliance reporting
Manage cross-portfolio dependencies, proactively surface conflicts, and protect critical timelines
Coach and upskill a matrixed network of program managers and business analysts, raising planning and communication standards
