ServiceNow Program Manager (Product Management)
Location: Dallas, TX or Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid)
Work Type: Contract-to-Hire (CTH)
Rate: $68-73/hr

About the Role
We're looking for a Sr. ServiceNow Product Manager to own the strategy, roadmap, and outcomes for key ServiceNow platforms across the enterprise. This role is highly strategic and focuses on driving real business value, not just managing tickets or enhancements.
You'll shape how ServiceNow services are designed, structured, and consumed-making sure the platform is scalable, well-governed, and aligned with business and technology goals.
What You'll Do
Own the ServiceNow Product Strategy
- Define the product vision and multi-year roadmap for ServiceNow domains such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CMDB, HRSD, CSM, or GRC
- Translate business priorities into clear, measurable product outcomes
- Make smart decisions around configuration vs. customization, ensuring platform stability and long-term sustainability
Design Enterprise-Ready Services & Catalogs
- Lead service architecture and service catalog design, ensuring services are consistent, intuitive, and easy to consume
- Ensure services align with CMDB/CSDM data models, reporting needs, and integrations
- Simplify and rationalize services to reduce duplication and complexity
Partner with Business & Technology Leaders
- Serve as the primary product owner and advisor for business stakeholders and technology teams
- Facilitate structured discovery sessions that go beyond basic request fulfillment
- Communicate roadmaps, priorities, and tradeoffs with transparency and clarity
Enable Platform Excellence
- Bring deep hands-on knowledge of ServiceNow workflows, data models, CMDB, integrations, reporting, and UX patterns
- Partner with Architecture, Infrastructure, and Asset teams to improve CMDB resiliency and governance
- Guide delivery teams to maximize out-of-the-box capabilities and enforce standard usage patterns
- Ensure solutions are upgrade-ready, stable, and high-performing
Manage Backlog & Prioritization
- Own the end-to-end backlog and intake process
- Balance new feature work with technical debt reduction and operational improvements
- Ensure work is well defined with clear success metrics and acceptance criteria
Track Value & Outcomes
- Define and monitor KPIs such as adoption, cycle time, data quality, and user satisfaction
- Use metrics to drive continuous improvement and value realization
What You'll Need
Required Experience- 10+ years of hands-on ServiceNow experience in a Product Manager, Platform Owner, or Functional Lead role
- Experience managing enterprise-scale ServiceNow environments with many stakeholders
- Strong product mindset-able to frame problems, define outcomes, and prioritize by value and risk
- Excellent communication skills, including executive-level messaging
ServiceNow Expertise- Deep knowledge of:
- Workflow orchestration, forms, CMDB/CSDM, integrations
- Core modules: ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, CSM, and/or GRC
- Reporting, dashboards, and data quality
Must-Have Qualifications- 10+ years of ServiceNow experience
- ServiceNow Technical Architect certification
- Experience implementing ServiceNow AI capabilities
- Expertise with ServiceNow greenfield implementations
